Do you happen to have a phone number for the Auto Ameristar you are speaking of? Six of them came up in the phone book on-line, but none in Novi/Walled Lake, etc. Closest one was Southfield, I think. Also, how much did they charge?

The tint for over here was for all 5 windows, good workmanship and lifetime replacement on discoloring, fading, and peeling. Auto-Ameristar said $225, but plus there's a coupon on their website for $20 off. Too expensive for me considering Auto One is $189.

I got mine done at Zeibart in Wateroford (right by the airport) They do a WONDERFUL job. I had my 94 SHO tinted there for $199.99. It was done perfect. I recently had my SVT tinted there for $199.99. They used the metelized tint (its black but it had a metalized material for a very long life) They warrenty it for a lifetime. They have 50% 35% 20% 5% availible. They rock!!

ok I work at the auto one at ford rd and merriman. Puttin one sheet of window tint is not advisable the reason why the back window id done in more than one sheet is so that it can be heat treated because of the angle and how much sun hits the window and the size of the window

Okay, got mine done last night. I went with the 35% and man that looks dark. When I parked it and looked, the dark interior makes it even more dark. Can`t beat the price. 140 bucks for 45 minutes of work. Looks real awsome. I will take pics and will post them.

I too recommend Ziebarts, the did a wonderful three window job on my dakota 6 years ago. good quality, and I'm sure you can find one in your area, they're everywhere
