Just wondering how many of you folks have taken advanced driver schooling of any type : defensive, racing etc.

So many folks here have modded their cars for speed and handling, just wondering if the driver is up to the task of safely exploiting the performance at their disposal.

This post is NOT intended to insult, impune or otherwise call into question the driving skills and habits of anyone here, modded car or not, just a general question I've been thinking about.

ps -- and I don't really want to see pics of "modded" bodies either wink

I really want to take Bondurant's or Skip Barber's driving school. Porsche has one too but that car is a bit far from what I have now.

One of my "wishes" if that counts. I would love to go to a driving/racing school for a couple days or something. To freakin expensive here in Vegas though. Don't know how it is anywhere else.

If you're in Vegas, you're near Sears Point which is (IIRC) where Bondurant is located.

One novice autocross course sanctioned by SCCA. Classroom theory and track time. Did it in the Isuzu Impulse and learned about drop throttle oversteer by scaring myself half to death!

One Ross Bentley performance driving course in the SVT.

That's about it.
