That's right. I deserted Tim and the Tulsa gang for KC about two weeks ago. I've been missing from the boards for quite a while due to travel, but I'm probably going to be back on them sporadically for a bit.

So hello everyone!

Given all that, I've got a few questions (Sam or anyone else for that matter). Where's a good Ford dealer in the KC area, and where's a good mechanic/suspension shop in KC?

I hope to be seeing some of you folks soon.

Regards,

James, you've resurfaced. I'd been wondering what happened to you. What kind of work you looking to get done?

That's great.

Hope to meet you soon.

You should come out to an autocross. We had 6 SVT Contour's out their yesterday. (some Lightnings, Cobras, 1 SVT focus)

It was a blast.

Greg

I don't blame you for wanting to get away from Tim, he's not a very good role model! wink

What kind of work more specifically are you looking to get done? If it is Warranty work, I definately tell you who not to go see. Olathe Ford, although I have heard they are under a new(er) Service Department manager, still would be questionable IMO. smile

Where abouts in OP are you at? Most of us "cool" laugh people are from the Olathe/ Shawnee Mission/ Merriam area. We get together whenever we have a reason, and sometimes just for the hell of it, we'd love to have you join us!

Maybe we could even talk old Timmay into joining us . smile

As for dealerships that are good. I would say Bill Woods. I work there and holy cow if we were to as much squeal a tire on the car that come in and out we could very well get fired. We treat all cars with the up most respect. I had them install my new transmission and half shafts and it made quite a difference. Is it possible to notice a difference from one transmission shop to another. I feel more power out of my car from this new tranny. Kind of weird.

As for a shop to do suspension I would recommend the fellow CEGers around here and take it to a local allignment shop afterwards. smile
