If you have a computer, then get the Ford TSP (Technical Service Publication). You can get it for $8 from todras@yahoo.com (check the CEG classifieds at
http://www.contour.org/classifieds/classifieds.php?t=1&c=1).
If you don't have a computer, then get the Haynes manual and/or the Chilton's manual. They are ~$15 each. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I personnaly like the Chilton's a little better.
Also, if you have a computer and a 1996+ model, then I highly recommend that you get Alex Peper's OBD-II software (Vehicle Explorer). You can read about it at
