Hey everyone, I got some real tires back on my car (Potenza SO3s instead of Blizzaks) and finally feel that I have my Contour back. What a difference!
It's almost time to install the aussie bar. I'm just waiting on delivery of the upgraded backing plates. Considering that the upgraded plates have to be welded in, and that I don't know how to weld, I've opted to not install this myself. I thought I remembered a recommendation on this board (or was it the KC Autox group?) for Mark at "Somethin' Somethin' Somethin'" for just this kind of job. Sound familiar to anyone, or was I hallucinating?
BTW I can't offer much in the way of you-work-on-my-car-I'll-work-on-yours, but I DO have an unused SVT Contour windshield header from Ford, if anyone's interested...
