Why do you think I had to get as big of an exhuast and tips as I could fit in the car?!

That is some damn funny shiz. Some of it strikes a little close to home though as I have been guilty of thinking about my car when I'm with my wife. Shame on me :rolleyes:

first time seeing this post, but it looks like it is to late to throw advice in (looks like mids are made up) it would be more of the same advice you are getting now.

I will throw this in. I know what ya mean by group envy. thats why I did my 3.0 I wanted to be the firs pre 98 to do it. then I wanted this that and everything else, it will never end till you end it. luckly at the time I had a g/f that loved it, so I was able to spend all the time and money on the car. are dates are mainly pizza and working on the car. but like you said it is a drug and it kept on getting worse for me, wanting so much stuff. Working overtime to afford more toys on the car. I got so addicted to it I blew up my engine on purpose to justify the 3.0 purchase ( talk about dumb).

Life is good when you have your hobbies and can still have g/f\wife to be with. I wish you the best and I am sure you will or have made the best decsion. I hope your wife understands you commitment to her and things get better.

On a side no it was awesome to meet you at SZ and I envy your car
