My wife had a baby last Friday and the tour has become the family mobile again. (As if it wasn't to begin with.) At least my 3 yr old daughter would tell me, "go faster Daddy!"
Now we had to move her seat to from the middle of the back seat to behind the driver and the baby seat behind the passenger. The seats are too buckety and the base of the kid seat leans toward the back of the car. The problem is that my son faces the rear and his head flops forward to his chest. Any tips on what I can do besides cutting part of a swimming noodle and wrapping it up in a towel to shove under the back of the car seat base?? confused confused

To protect my leather from the evil car seat I put one of those pads for your butt on a bleacher down. I put it all the way against the back support part of the seat, as my son is 2.5 and faces forward, I think you could use one to adjust the level of the seat. Some seats have adjustments I think....

Congratulations!!!

Yep, you are supposed to use the swimming noodle. You don't necessarily have to wrap a towel around it though(your choice). If you need to you can also tape two pieces of the cut noodle together to make the car seat level and then stuff it in the seat. You are also supposed to kneel on the seat while fastening the car seat buckle. This helps to keep the noodle even and the car seat level. wink

We use a couple of rolled up towels to level the car seat.

I had the CHP install my car seat for our first born, they used the funnoodle technique.

I cover the seat with a wool blanket.

Bunch it up under the bottom side towards to back.
Leave just enough to cover to the front edge and up to the top of the baby seat back.

Once compressed the wool blanket is firm & does not shift.
