i was reading previous threads about gutting the precats and your name was on there quite a bid. do you think i should do this mod. i have a kkm, sho shop ypipe w/o a cat and stock exhaust (insufficient funds!).

is an easy mod or should i try to have someone do it for me, if i can find someone? any suggustion is greatly appreciated and/or directions. by the way what does a MIL do?

i was going to do this mod to my car a while back and when i went to have it done no one would touch my car. they were afraid of messen up a sensor. if you look right before your cat there is a sensor. i dont know how it is with the SHO Shop y-pipe but i think you would have to have a chip burnt especially for the cat. maybe i dont know what i am tlaking about. ok i am retarded.

Well, the Sho Shop piece you can problem do own your own givin experience Novice and the tools to do it. Depending on what year your bolts could be a bear to get off. He is what you should do. Try to get the bolts loose sometime this week. This will let you know if you need to take it to a shop to have them welded off.
