Not familiar with it, but I look forward to seeing this happening, even if mine is painfully stock and as long as you don't mind a younger guy meeting with you.

Hey Guys, I'd really like to meet with you on the 21st. Though it's possible I have to work
at The Texas Heat Wave on the 21st and 22nd. Also if any of you guys in Austin need tires/rims/align or brake work,I can help, I work at NTB in Oak Hill.

I'm sure I can speak for the other Austinites when I say that everyone who has a Contique is welcome. If you're old enough to drive, you're certainly old enough to attend. smile

And thanks to pick for the auto work offer. It's good to keep it in the family, if you know what I mean.

Looks like I'm going to make it for sure. This run looks really cool. I think I have been on it before, just not for fun smile

Can't wait!

There's an HEB close to the start of the run, big parking lot there. I would say around 1:00, that'll give the people driving in some time.

The Volente run is only a mile or two, very tight and high paced. And the no-passing zone on the entire run might get annoying if we get stuck behind a weekend traveler.

There's also the drive up to Marble Falls. I've never been but I think it would be more relaxing to drive. It's longer though, so that might be inconvenient for some. Opinions? Let's get this thing finalized...

I found a lengthy but fun route last weekend that started at Volente, continued up to Lago Vista, then back roads over to 183, and back to Austin.

I will post details this evening when I get back to my GPS mapping software at home.

I also found a *superior* quality drive from S. Austin to Fredericksburg. I'll post those details, too. And I would *really* like to do the Willow City Loop.

I like this route best (Volente) since it is only 10 miles. An 80-ish mile run would just add to the 184 mile run for me from Dallas to Austin (read, tired of driving smile .)

I vote for the shorter one, but don't get me wrong. I do love to drive. And yes, I'm bringing the Contour.

Well, the Volente route would be easier for me, simply because I'm right next to it, and will probably have a gig that night so can't be on the road all day.
