To everyone here in So. Cal.

When the original So. Cal CEG was started, Bito started a mailing list. This was over four years ago. Since then, the mailing list has fallen to the side because of Contour.org's size. Since the big CEG site is going away now, I'm letting everyone know that the mailing list is still up and active.

ceg-southern-cali@yahoogroups.com

Please put this address in your now! We still use this once in a while!

Thanks Dion. I was wondering how me might still communicate after this site bites the dust. It will come in handy for that "get-together" next month if it happens. laugh

I am very upset that this site is going. I have gained alot of knowledge and assistance here. I just joined the other Contour site. Fordcontour.org. I know it isn't what this site has become, but maybe it will grow. In the interim, I will see you all on the SoCal board.

Until some sort of long term solution is reached, you guys are welcome to use SoCal NECO's forum.

Once you get a list of your members and their email addresses together, download the master list from my site, add your names in on a new book named with your local chapter. Email it back to me and I will keep it posted for everyone.

The excel file will be available at:

Everyone keep in touch. I wanted to have a meet during the beginning of september, maybe at my place/Boomers in Irvine. Who else?

Looks like the site may hang around if'n they can get enough donations. However, just in case, I've registered at the yahoogroups site and re-registered at FC.org along with a bunch of other CEG folks it looks like.

A meet in early September sounds good to me too! laugh

Okay, so I've never actually posted here before. I used to lurk around here, but haven't seen the site in a while. I came back mainly to look around for a fix for my cruise control (found and fixed earlier today), and was disappointed to hear that the site will be going offline (at least for a while.)

From what I'm reading, the site should probably return in about a month, but may not include the forums in its next incarnation. Even though I've never contributed to them, it's sad to see them go . . . the tech tips, the regional comments, and even some of the flamage.

Thanks, everyone . . . and maybe I'll show up somewhere else later on.
