Just a reminder: There's a SoCal SVTOA meeting at Sunset Ford this Sunday. For more information, contact Scott Stevens via e-mail at svtoa@sbcglobal.net

Just a note. This is not the So Cal SVTOA. It may be the Orange County SVTOA, but the SoCal SVTOA had it's General Meeting last Saturday at Galpin Ford (our sponsor). At that meeting was Steve Saleen with the Saleen S7 road car. One lucky ticket holder got a ride.

My bad; I thought it was SoCal. Out of curiosity, how many CSVT's do you have show up at your meetings?

I am real new to the club, and don't really know how many. But I know of at least one other.

The meeting this Sunday is of the L.A./O.C. (which practically IS SoCal - sorry S.D.) chapter of the SVTOA which is sponsored by Sunset Ford. Interesting to me is the contact address for SoCal chapter is in Chino Hills. Too bad Chino Hills Ford isn't the sponsor. It's just a stone's throw away from me. So, how many Contours we gonna have there Sunday? Karl

Well, we had a fairly good showing of SVT Contours (3) plus a V6 GL. Lots of Lightnings, a few Cobras and two SVTF's. Probably 8 to 12 people paid the ten bucks to join. We're having a car show on September 29th, a cruise on August 24th and the next meeting will be at a location other than Sunset Ford. I already forgot except that it was near a Carl's Jr. and a Walmart(?) with a big parking area to show off the vehicles. Glenn, the guy who runs the meetings, is the guy we saw at Speedzone in April when some of us got together there. He has the red Lightning with the cartoon duck on the tailgate. I'm sure we'll be reminded where the new meeting location will be before the 3rd Sunday of next month. Karl

Okay, I have a non-SVT Contour. Where are the SoCal non-SVT Contour meets or are non-SVTs welcome?
