I needed to have my alighnment done... I just found out they were out of business... That sucks. Now I need to find a place that knows what the hell they are doing. I had my alignment done 3 times and it still isn't right. Does anyone know of a good alignment shop in LA?? I want to go somewhere that can make manual adjustments from knowledge, other that setting me on the machine and saying "OK, It's done".... Basically I need to go somewhere that has a clue.. Thanks, Marc

South County was bought out by another custom shop in the same center. I haven't been there since the change of ownership but I'd think they should still be able to do it.

i went there to buy my intake the day before xmas....it was pretty much a mess....some guy in a cheap suit was hassling the new counter guy about licenses or something to do with the bus...the previous business (south county) had left a mess and i think the guy was telling the cheap suit dude that the lease had to be re-done because it was a pos too...they had very few parts and i was told at that time they would not be supplying parts and service for the contour for the most part although the guy did offer to do a magnaflow dual exhaust like one he had put on an svt the day before
the business taking over is LSD performance and they do custom turbo work and so on so there may still be some hope of them working with contours

Actually, SCA never did any wheel alignment... When I was there about a year and half ago, I paid John to do my alignment and he then had this alignment shop (at the end of the other building, same plaza) do my alignment. John had a deal going with that guy back then. So if that alignment shop is still there, you can go check it out... they do all SCA's lowered contours before.

If you want to travel to Riverside, Magnolia Alignment is top notch.
In Orange County, Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim does a nice job in their service/install center.
I've had great luck with both places.

Actually, John had purchased an alignment rack a little over a year ago, George was doing the alignments from that point on. Doesn't matter, SCA doesn't exist anymore. Maybe the rack is still there, and the new owner know's how to use it? As for an alignment, I just purchased a "lifetime" alignment policy from my local Firestone. For $139.00, I can get my car aligned whenever I feel the need. You will get a before and after printout each time. The guy that did my car told me that since it was lowered, and I purchased the lifetime policy, to bring in my car every 3000 miles or so, unless I felt the car needed it sooner.

That sounds cool.. Thanks for the info... Firestone...huh??? If they keep making tire like they do, you'll only be able to get 2 alignments done before they go out of business .. I'll check out the local firestone.. Dion, have you had any problem with the car still pulling after alignment?? Marc

Actually, I do have a problem with the car pulling still, but my tires have almost 20K on them, and I knocked the alignment out, because the left side, front and back, had excessive wear on the inside. I will get the tires balanced again, then do another alignment sometime in the near future.
