I was wondering if you guys think I may be able to get $6,000 for my Mystique (private sale). It is a 1999 Mystique GS 2.0 ATX, JVC CD player, Pioneer plates in doors, HID projectors, 83,000mi, Cabernet Red, Tan Cloth int., new dash, new tires, new waterpump. I owe $8,500 and am desperate for a P/U truck because I am a construction sub-contractor on my own and I'm struggling without a truck. I love my Mystique but I'ts hurting my bussiness right now. I just wan't to know if I would be asking too much and if so how much should I ask?
thanks, hope you can help

Take a look at Uncle Henry's www.unclehenrys.com and see what they've got around here. You have to remember that you're competing with the Brunswick Saturn dealer (the 98 Mystique has 75K, I think they want $6500 for it, and they offer a warranty (at least a short one). Also Casco Bay Ford in Yarmouth also has some Contours on their lot I believe.
This makes it hard sometimes to sell a car for a good price. A lot of our dealers around here buy at the auctions and sell the cars at wholesale and still make money.

BTW I think I mentioned to you that your lights look great in person. cool
