Hey everyone,

My CEL light has been on the past two days, never goes off and comes on as soon as the car is started. I did the 90,000 mile service at a dealer a month ago and they didn't find anything. I did replace my battery two days ago also. Could that have anything to do with it? I have read some of the other CEL posts, someone mentioned resetting the computer and/or pulling the code to see what the car is reading as the problem (neither of these things I know how to do!)

I have an OBD-II scanner and I'm home with the family till tuesday if you want to check the code. I'm out in Poway - let me know.....

Well, I don't know why but now it's off! Not that I'm complaining or anything Thanks for the offer of the scanner, Scott. If it comes on again, I'll take you up on your offer.

Yep, a woman driving an SVT. Can't think of anything else I'd rather own! Mine is easily identifiable by the smashed in rear door on the drivers side (soon to be fixed).
