I thought I'd drop in and say hello. I'm moving to southern California in April. I've gotten PCS orders for the Air Force and will be stationed at Vendenberg just north of LA.

I'm definitely ready for warmer weather and so is my Tour!! We've gotten our first snow of the year today and are expected to get about 12". Ick...

Well, just thought I'd say hello! How often do you all get together? What is there to do in southern Cali?

Welcome, and since you're closer to central cali, you'll have to drive down to see most of the sites. You are closer to Magic Mountain though. There are a lot of things to do here. And even though it's getting colder (60's), it's a beautiful sunny day here.


We don't get together that often, but in April, we all go to the Fabulous Fords Forever show. It's huge, and it's fun to see almost every Ford ever built. The show is held at Knott's Berry Farm, in one of their overflow parking lots. Maybe you'll be here in time for that!

I should be there around 12 April if my drive from OTS in Alabama goes as planned. That Ford show sounds like it would be a great time! Hopefully I'm in town for it.

Whats up? Im from San Luis Obispo, but live in LA now. SLO is only about 50min from Vandenberg. You are only about 45min from Santa Barbera. Lots of College partys etc. About 1 and 40 to LA. and you are also close to Willow springs raceway, and Lancaster which has a dragstrip. Tons of stuff to do. Welcome to Cali.

Willow Springs and Los Angeles County Raceway (L.A.C.R.) are where I flont my stuff occasionally!
