just next year be ware or Dave Dralles 289 cobra it is gonna be the fastest thing out there bar none!!
Dave Dralle used to buy suspension stuff from my dads old company. We sold him really trick spring and sway bar setups. My dad now currently runs the Sales at XKS Unlimited in San Luis Obispo. They are the main distributor for the CSX continuation program (Real Aluminum Cobras). My dads boss had either his Aluminum Bodied 427 or his Aluminum bodied 289fia car, the really hot one with the 48ida Down draft webbers. Unfortunately I have had the Flu to end all flus and couldnt make it out. Soon as I get another car to run, you can bet I will be out there as much as possible. I have ran at Willow about 15 times. I used to run my 89 Blown 347 Mustang out there. And Garretts Car used to be mine. That thing was really fun on the track, a little slow on the straights, but I would take Vipers through the turns. Most of the Viper guys were babies. They would stick all that clear plastic on the front end to protect it from chips..Boo hoo..
Kirkhams are the same thing as the Shelbys. Kirkham does not sell any cars under his name. They are the ones being made in the Poland ex Mig factory. They are then shipped to Shelby in Vegas and built into rolling chassis, then sent to dealers like my dad. Those things are better then an original, quality wise.
Oh by the way, Im hoping my dads GT350 will be some good competition for Dralles cars. Its a 65 Full racecar with a 331 Stroker, BG800 Carb, 12.5/1 JE pistons, bla bla bla. This thing should move when its finished.
