Hey Guys,

I've spoken with Eric & Rich about the front air splitter for the SVT Contours. Rich still has the template and mold... so he can replicate the splitter.

Now bear in mind that the piece is expensive, but it'll pay for itself by saving your front spoiler. Furthermore, the center section actually sticks out about 1.5" from the lip of the stock spoiler, so the splitter will hit parking blocks before your spoiler does!

The price on the spoiler is about $600 painted. All you have to do is specify the color of your car and they can paint the spoiler to match your car. Since it's being done in standard Ford colors, it should match.

If you're interested, I've arranged for Eric Cheney to work out order placement and shipping. Eric accepts credit cards and can even perform the installation for you if you'd like. Eric's number is: 714-926-3363

Yeah, I know it's expensive, but the fact of the matter is that the plastic used is expensive to begin with. Just the raw piece of plastic used to form the air splitter is almost $400 for the sheet. Then after that, there's cutting & prep work for paint, then the paint and finally the "edging" (where they apply a black film around the border of the painted area to keep the paint from lifting off the plastic.)

It's a pretty trick piece but I agree... it's expensive. I did it because I was tired of scraping the spoiler on driveways and having bad valet people ram the spoiler into the curb. The cost of refinishing and repainting the front spoiler is over $400... so I figured that I'd do it once and do everything to make sure I wouldn't have to do it again. (Hence the splitter.)

Does the $600 price include installation of the splitter?

Hey Guys,

I don't think that includes installation, but I'm sure that Eric Cheney can get that done for you at a reasonable cost.

Here's an image of the front air splitter from my ebay ad...
