Anybody care togo to carlsbad race track, and see what times we can put up??? Its like $20 or so.1/4 miles times.

I plan on going to Carlsbad sometime in March or April....I want to run at LACR on March 7th, so anytime AFTER March 7th is good for me. I think i have another Cougar owner who wants to go as well, and maybe some Celica and Si owners.....it would be cool to get a group together...I am really anxious to see what times my Coug will run at sea level..I am hoping for sub 15 second times....I figure i am right at about 15.2 or so.....with practice i should be able to get under 15....hehehe...

Hey wass up Chow...I'm back in Cali now and a couple of my buddies were talking about going to Carlsbad on saturday. I was thinking about going but probably just to watch ...not sure thought. If are you going let me know ,i'll go and maybe hit the i/4 mile a couple of times ,who knows.

YES! I haven't been to the track since I got the new muffler/SVT flywheel and new clutch and want to see if I can do any better than before (16.0 with wheel FRYING clutch dump - doh!). What are the rules at Carlsbad - helmet required? Anyway - I can't stay all that long but I'd love to make a couple runs.

all u need is to sign a waiver and bring a helmet. I'm not going to make it this weekend, cause is seem I just didn't give enough time, shall we make it next week for sure??? March 3rd?

Better watch out for Bito, his SE ATX can run mid to low 14's on the bottle at Carlsbad.

Hey I'm down for a little CEG gathering at Carlsbad. Hopin to Break into the 13's!!!
Maybe sometime March, might be nice to see some 3.0L SVT's out there...(Roger,David...) Or maybe a supercharged SVT(Bob...You in here).
Carlsbad Raceway...$20 to run or $10 just to watch.
If you plan on runnin, bring a helmet, and pants(no shorts!!!)
It's basically run what ya brung, and the tech inspection is very basic.
It's pretty simple to get there...take the 5 fwy, get off on Palomar Airport road, make a left... then go down like five miles. You make a left at ??(I think it Business park dr, or something like that...Jack in the BOX on the corner) then a left at the second light. I can give more detailed instructions, once we decide what day to do this.
