Sassmaster,

you should pick up a SVT exhaust for your car.

Not sure if NyceBoi still has his, but he should sell it to you for around $150

Most people have heard mine. I had a glasspack turned backwards in the resonator position. Its LOUD! but clean.

Hey Toadster,
so what was the full price of the muffler operation. I assume you bought 2 of them, right?
And also, I have a totally lame question for anyone in the group. What exactly is the resonator? It is apparently not what I thought it was.

ok - so i replaced the resonator (it's the first of 3 mufflers on an SVT) - it's located behind the Y-pipe and under the front seats... the stock resonator is built to reduce noise and it hampers performance (anywhere from 3-5HP) - so the RPM Muffler was ~$100, install was $45 (my mishaps above cost me an additional $35-40 so learn to get the right part) smile

i didn't touch the rear mufflers, they're stock SVT - and my car is MUCH louder than before... it maybe a bit much on a long trip, but i'm usually anywhere within a 1/2 hour smile

make sense?

Just to let everybody know, I was the first to install this particular muffler, on a recommendation from aussiesvt.
