Bummer Toad. Look on the positive side. It was only 20 bucks. Cost me 120 clams to replace my side skirts! I've driven Salmon Falls Road several times and it is a gas! Once you get moved in I can show you a couple of roads in the area you will enjoy in the 'Tour.

BTW, did you happen to catch the sunset last evening? It was beautiful. I was up at the Church off Country Club towards Bass Lake Road. From there I watched the sunset and admired how the light looked reflecting off my silver frost paint. It was awesome! I wish I had my camera with me at the time.

The metal clips do not grab too well.

I would suggest using a very small drill bit and drilling holes through 3-4 of the tabs and using fine wire or small zip ties to hold it in place.

easy fix

Todd was that you I passed over the HW 50 overpass off E. Bidwell the other night? I could have sworn I saw an SVT in my rear view mirror.

the first 5503 muffler cost $96 to the door, wrong part! sent back for $16 shipping, got the 5542 as a replacement, cost $20 more than the 5503 - so the part itself cost me $132! then $45 for the install at Midas, the guy did a pretty decent job considering the 5542 is a bit shorter than the stock resonator... so i'm at about $177 for the damn resonator! haha - at least everyone else can learn from my mistakes!

i'll have to clear the computer this weekend, i think the ECU is re-learning the added flow... it's definitely DEEPER sounding, and i can now actually hear the exhaust over the KKM intake sound - really weird that the sound is coming from both the front AND back of the car now smile

definitely pulls more on the top end that's for sure!!! my kids even noticed as soon as i fired up the car last night, they were like "WOW! Dad, this sounds cool!" laugh

oh yah, Sassmaster - yep it was me!, was out on White Rock going for a cruise, i saw ProZach on my way back too smile
