Very simple job after I took a peek under the car. Did not need a floor jack after all. Had to go to Pep Boys, two Kragen stores, and finally to a Ford parts counter to get all the mounting "hardware". Most of the cheap nylon (plastic) mounting screws and plugs could not be reused. I left the skirts unpainted and they look great. I may order a spare set. Who knows just how long they will be available? I could always sell them to a fellow CEGer if I don't need them. I figure 120 bucks is not bad since I plan on keeping the car for as long as it lasts.

Nah! Don't want folks oohing and aahing all over my ride. Besides, my car isn't old enough to be in the show, is it?

why'd you install new side skirts?
i just reinforced my side skirts the other day...stainless steel sheet metal screws seemed to do the trick wink Nearly all the old screws had fallen out on my driver's side. eek

My skirts were beaten up on both sides. I ran over a couple of traffic cones almost two months ago and they took out a nice chunk of side skirt on my driver side. The passenger side front jack port cover was also damaged and held in place with duct tape. So, I decided to replace them both since they were cheap enough. The new ones look nice, even unpainted! Why unpainted? Expensive! Besides, I like the new look.
