So it was yesterday. It was tight. Bomb ass tight.
There was an MR2 club there, and yes there was another Contour. I'll be damned if I remember his name, but he knows about the forums now.
95 V6 ATX, with the Baer brakes, koni's and eibachs. Looked damn good and those brakes do one helluva job.
He was in the 3rd of the 4 groups, the higher the number the better the driver. I was in group 1

But anyways, I did well the first session. 2nd Session i sucked balls. Off the track twice in 2 laps. That was gay. So I went for a ride in the other tour. Learned a few neat tricks and took it easy for the 3rd session.
managed to build up my confidence a little bit more.
so the 4th session came around and i did much better.
i still don't recall being passed by anyone, except the few times where i spun.
my last session i was dominating. ****in handed an m roadster his ass.
but anyways, that was a boat load of fun, and you guys gotta come.
i need new tires though, so its not really cheap fun. but still a blast none-the-less.

they wouldn't let me use my tri-pod, you have to have an actual camera mount. so unfortunately no camera footage.
i'll get some when I go to thunderhill in august again though.

180 for the race, 30 for the membership fee.

if you guys come down in august to willow springs its only 100. one helluva deal. but its in so. cal. but it's not that far.

I would come, but I just want to watch. How much is it for spectators? or riders?
Will they let a passenger film? Cause i would get PLENTY of footage with my 700+ minute battery

it's 5 bucks for non-members to enter the track, and 5 bucks to ride-a-long.
passenger's cant film either.

but the rules are completely different down at willow springs. not a nasa event.

Are you getting new tires before the Willow Springs event? We are only 5 weeks away from it!!! I cant wait to get on the Big Track. It will be alot of fun.

Now that I have Konis my car handles much better. Too bad I didnt have money to get some Kumho VictoRacers though...oh well. There is always next time.
