I got my contour from a honda dealership that would have otherwised auctioned it. They kept my mom's traded-in taurus though and sold it in bout 5 days. I'm glad that offered me my car before selling it,,,if they had sold in on the lot it would have been bout $2,000 more.

You say you are in KC, ehhh? Where abouts and such are you located and where abouts is the car located? I see Speedway Motor Company, so I am thinking somewhere in Wyandotte county. Maybe they'll let you take it for the weekend and maybe some of us can arrange to meet up and we can check the usual trouble spots and see if there is anything wrong with it for you, or help you. What year is it? I see T-red and Black opal interior (read: Midnight Blue) so I am ssuming it is a 98/98.5 as that is the only year that combo was available. In which case 39,xxx is pretty low mileage for a 98. wow....thatsa nice one...red with black seats...MTX V6? good find...i would shoot for around $10,000 though...$11+ seems a little high than what most people are paying today...even though it's still well worth that!

and my girls altima was a rental that the dealer bought at auction....its a fine car 2001 only thing is that mileageis high at 26k when she bought it in feb02

Hey thanks guys. Yeah its a 98. I live north by the airport off barry road. The address to Speedway is 2528 W. penway. I have no clue where that is but I have printed directions.
I think that would be pretty cool if a couple of you guys could come check it out with me and what not.
