Last week, I saw a generic Mustang V8 on I680 with an SVT emblem in the vicinity of the usual rear mounting location. The car was clearly NOT an SVT Cobra. My first guess is, the guy popped an emblem from a parked car. Has anybody here experienced "Emblem-napping" yet??

I just don't bother to slow down for the curves!

The emblems are not that expensive and are all over EBAY. He may just have picked one up for $5.

I have one off a.. early 90s I believe (right Chrisvt?) Cobra near my moonroof.

You can buy them from your ford dealer. They are under $10 brand new IIRC.
