Thats the same number I got until I swapped out the resonator. I have gone from 200 miles a tank to 220-240 (city). Perhaps the Y-pipe will increase that even more!

Summer blends?

resonator is next for me smile

and the gas companies modify the amounts of MTBE in the gas between certain months (I think it's October to March) to lessen HC's in the air during the winter months - the bad part is that the cars get worse mileage!! so we end up putting in more gas to get more miles, and i think all the stupid math gets evened out frown

someone needs to shoot the gas regulators (hehe)

Greatest milage on a tank-full: 436 35.08 MPG

Average MPG at 26,500 miles: 28.48

I'll admit I bought the SVT for strange reasons. 50% handling, 40% uniqueness, 10% acceleration. The main reason beyond those characteristics was the overall beefiness of the suspension and drive-train bits. The way I drive, I expect 200,000 miles out of the clutch, shocks, struts and brakes. The tires are still original although they'll have to go by 30,000.

I drive slow for longest life and best gas milage. (28.48 MPG avg at 26K miles)
I just don't bother to slow down for the curves!

SlowLane drove from Pleasanton to Palm Springs at 58 MPH with only one stop en-route. I let the cruise control do the work and used no AC for the whole trip. The return trip was "only" 33.6 MPG, but there was a headwind most of the way. I opened it up for a few miles on a long open stretch near Bakersfield at 05:00. Reached 138 MPH and still climbing a little before I let off. I didn't want to pass a semi at that clip. Damn, it felt good!!!

Was driving 55mph to get those 340 miles. I drive at 80 plus now and my mileage is about 25 mpg on the highway. In the city I get about 20 because I really like to drive! Vroom vroom!
