I did it. I confess laugh I went to the JY and got it all for the cost of entering the place, $1. It's great and totally helps. Grab the glove box lock while you're at it, if you can.

The key that fits it. duh. wink

You guys MUST add the glove box light!! It makes all the difference...its a very easy mod that doesn't take any time at all. Actually...I think I have an extra bulb socket laying around if someone wants it...lemme check.

The glove box lock is very easy to install also...just need to get a key made for it.

Edit:

Just remembered something...I believe Ford changed the glove box liner in the 99 MY making unable to hold the bulb socket. Basically they filled in the hole where the socket would have gone. I know it was something along these lines but I'm not positive about the MY...it was either 99 & 00 or just 00. Open your glovebox, look up at the top of it, in the center, there should be a small hole(1/2" dia.).

My 99 SVT does not have a hole. Now I know why I had problems trying to do this mod! laugh

Yeah, when I tried to order the parts from Bill Jenkins for my 2000 he told me that Ford had changed the design and the parts wouldn't fit my car.
