It makes all the difference...its a very easy mod that doesn't take any time at all. Actually...I think I have an extra bulb socket laying around if someone wants it...lemme check. The glove box lock is very easy to install also...just need to get a key made for it. Edit: Just remembered something...I believe Ford changed the glove box liner in the 99 MY making unable to hold the bulb socket. Basically they filled in the hole where the socket would have gone. I know it was something along these lines but I'm not positive about the MY...it was either 99 & 00 or just 00. Open your glovebox, look up at the top of it, in the center, there should be a small hole(1/2" dia.).
