Whats up all? Went into the thriving metropolis known as Red Bluff to get my car smogged and get cali plates.....They wouldn't even test my car due to my intake. I've got the KKM Intake and they said since the pvc breather wasn't routed into the factory airflow (like it is with the stock airbox) that they couldn't pass me even if the car passed.......So know I've got my factory airbox being fedex'd to me to I can reinstall it just to get my f@@#ing car smogged.....and of course after is passed I'm ripping it right back out!!! Any help on places that smog that aren't so anal??

Most places are anal about that type of thing. One place flat out refused to smog my car for some reason? Make sure you car also doesn't have a CE light or anything like that.

there are places that aren't as stringent on "visual" inspection - most places just care that you're not poluting the air...

trust me, i know how you feel...
