Thanks for your interest in AEM! We are developing a Cold Air System for the Cougar. I appreciate the extra info, and the invitation to post on the forum. I will get our information out to the Cougar community when we have dyno results and a production system on the shelf.

Awesome!! I for one will be looking forward to seeing what you come out with. As you probably know, there's not that much market for our cars. It's great to hear that someone is starting to listen as there is certainly a need for it!!

'96 Mystique, Zetec, MTX. ---Mods--- Removed both intake resonators and airbox. Installed APC air filter and APC crankcase ventilation filter. Removed exhaust resonator. Installed XM Satellite Radio. Replaced bad alternator and 175a fusible link...much fun! Intake plenum---GONE!!!! My car growls louder than yours. If I can't buy it, I'll build it...Trust Me!!!!

i dont work for aem but they announced something on speedoptions looking for a cougar. i forgot if they needed a zetec or duratec. im not sure if they found a car to work on but maybe some contours in socal with a zetec or duratec can email them about using their cars. you get a free intake!
