What's up everybody. Hadn't been here in awhile so I thought I'd say hello. How's everybody been? I've been having a blast with "Roxy", that's what I named the RX-7. I already did a bunch more stuff to her, I added:
99 RX-7 front splitter(Plastic is much better than fiberglass, this one doesn't get messed up all the time like the Mirko did.
H&R Springs(Now I'm 4 1/4 in of the ground in front, an inch lower than the SVT was.
All new stereo, Alpine deck, Boston 6 1/2's and 5x7's, Boston 12, and a Phoenix Gold Trantrum amp.
Every Momo thing made for my car:
Course steering wheel w/ F1 horn, door sills, shift boot and knob, and three point harnesses.
New Pettit racing dual open filter intake(Stuff is expensive for this thing, my intake was 400 bucks, why can't KKM make one for me!
I still haven't lost!!! That's good.
We almost got busted for street racing a few weeks ago. I'll make a long story short. There is alot of racing up here in Sonoma county. We met in Napa and sat around the parking lot forever waiting for everyone. Got hungry, went to In and Out and got left behind. My buddy gave me direction with his cell. About two minute before I got there they got busted. Cop closed of the road in front and behind them and got almost everybody. Arrested a few that had warrants, and impounded any car that didn't have current ins, reg and all that stuff. The nieghbors had been taping them for weeks and they were going to come and get anyone who they found there that night that was on the tapes. Lucky for me and my buddies this was the first time we had gone with these guys.
Lastly sad news, Marcus and Roxy are moving to Texas, I'm get transferred there in May, so hopefully we have a meet before that so you can all see the RX-7.

Sounds like a nice a$$ car!!! Do you have any pics? What r your 1/4 mile times? No one actually drivers likes street racing anymore. I have seen some "STING" cars from the actual SacPD up here. There is a Sebring and a Stealth (go figure) that will race you on the street and have another cop around the corner. They actually showed the car on the news once......great undercover work

As someone who was crashed into by a pair of idiots street racing (well, only one of them hit me, but he did over $6000 worth of damage to my car), I can definately say that street racing is absolutely assinine. You live in Petaluma, so take a half hour, drive to Sears Point Raceway, and kick some butt legally...
(Just the opinion of someone who was without his SVT for a month because of street racers)

I believe that it is 1/4 mile.... It needs to be done soon, so that the jet cars can compete. Additionally, Nascar will be there in a couple months, so they better have it done PDQ.

its not done yet! and its the 1/4 mile.
they were lookin at the first week in april for the SPORT (our cars) drags.
