Man, I would love to live in a universe where a thousand RPMs could account for three full seconds in a 0-60 time.

What were Honda thinking ? Why are so many cars off-limits to 6 footers ? I drove a friends Xterra one night and even that was cramped for me. I've also felt uncomfortable in a Mustang, Focus, Suzuki Esteem, Cavalier (all rentals on business) I'm 6'3" so I'm not exceptionally tall yet there are so many cars I could never comfortably drive, it's a pity.

I'm an s2k fan. Big time. Ever since I sat in a brand new one here ATL that was titanium grey with red seats. I'd love to own one, so I try and pay attention at the strip. I bet they could benefit from an 8k launch, but that's unnerving to most.[/b]
I have raced a few, won some and lost some, few of my friends that have them had them grande the rear, tranny or axel's when they try to launch hard on thier S2000's. CSVT are not much better. But I still can't figure out why Honda c confused ouldn't have made thier drive train stronger. I have see people run 15's to 13.9 on a stock S2000. So go figure....

Yeah S2000's are only fast if you know how to drive them (hard). I had one playing with me the other day, and I smoked him from a slow rolling start, I was telling my passenger the whole time that that guy has to keep the rev's up and shift hard or he is in for a whoopin :-) Silly honda...

0-60: 5.2s

You're gonna REALLY have to step up the Contour.. David Z's 280hp beast is only putting down a 14.08s 1/4, and I haven't seen any S/C ones in the 13s yet.

Too bad the car's so damn small, if you're over 6ft tall, it's just too tight.
What were those numbers again?? 0-60 in 5.2 and the 1/4 in 13.8?? LMAO
for comparison the 2001 ZO6 with 385 HP runs the 1/4 in 13.0(Claimed by chevy of course) and it weighs in at 3200lbs.
Sorry but I don't believe the S2000 is running that fast in stock showroom condition.
BTW Honda is claiming 0-60 in just under 6 sec, Big difference from 5.2 to 6 sec
