Well I traded in my 'tour. I lusted after the SVT contour ever since I saw the show car, and it took me 5 years before I could get one. With a recent pay cut and having to move to a more expensive house, I had to do something. I ended up with a '01 Mustang GT and a payment that is $200 dollars a month lower. It was a sad day. I WILL get another SVT contour someday. I would love to still go on some drives with the group and get togethers. This is a great bunch of folks.
How much was the GT? I just received like a $4/hour raise and Im looking for a new car. Kevin - if you read this, I think Im gonna have to trade the tour in for a new/used car. Im having no luck on the ope-market.

The GT was 23 and change. I got the Deluxe with the Mach460 stereo. The gearing is so different on the Mustang. 80 @ 2100 rpm in fifth gear! Still getting used to it.. guess I better go out and drive it some more!
so tell us, what's 260 pounds of torque at 2100 rpms like? my next car will be a mustang, probably the new ones in 2003/4 whenever they come out. love the tour though, and don't plan on trading her in
