I'm sure that i'm not alone in sensing the heavy feeling that has come over this group in the last week or so. I may not post much but i log on every day to see what everyone is up to. Lately there has been alot of sh*t said about the cars that we all belong to this group for, and some are justified to say so, Chris & Sandra and definately BB especially. But what really bothers me is the attitude toward Chris. So he is part of the VWGRUPPE. I have another friend in that group and guess what??? these guys are f-in organized. detailed maps, organized stops along their routes, like Sandra said, community and charity events. And what are they now Chris? something like 300+ members strong just in the bay area. That is incredible. perhaps if we are lucky enough Chris-our CO-MODERATOR, will bring some of that organization to our group. But he needs a group to organize. not one thats gonna talk sh*t about him

Peace out

my current progression...

Chris you have done a great job so far...no compliants from me.

As far as being left behind goes I think there was a lack of communication as to what people had planned to do on the drive. People (including myself) wanted to drive fast. But how do you stay in a group like this? I don't think anyone would have enjoyed the drive if we drove slow thru all those tempting twisties. I apologized already for not thinking ahead on this so we cool. Just don't like to see you still pissed off about that and ditchin us for the VW guys cause we offended you (not saying you have). That was never my intention and we have spoken about this already.

I think that we are still getting to know each other and I have had no idea what to expect at the meets. It takes a few meets to get it right. We really haven't had that many so the chemistry and structure is a bit off. We will hopefully learn from our mistakes. If we stick with it, I'm sure things will come together soon enuff.

I dont know what to say about this. I feel for Chris a lot, I think there are a lot of people in our group that do a lot for us. I dont understand where the tension is coming from (i kinda do i guess), but what makes me mad is.....that Toadster and I still havent made it to a meet!
Does that pi$$ you guys off? I hope not, I have just been working a lot.
I mean 6 days a week, 3 of those days are 12 hour days and 2 of them are also 6 hour turn-arounds. I mean, I love you guys to death, but if I had to choose between a meet and sleep (very needed) well, I would sleep on the way there laugh
I hope we can all just maybe start over and be a "family" again

I stepped in a while ago to take over for Ray, never met the man, but he was a great guy, I never expected to keep this rank, but I'm still around laugh

.... Chris has done a fabulous job, setting up meets, webpages, T-shirt possibilities (Sandra), etc, etc, etc...

he's got hooks up, and got all the peeps in a row - hehe starting to sound like my dad in the '80s tryin to sound cool, but failing pitifully

anyways, were "here" as an online community, as people mix online and real-life community the anonymity loses it's effect and real people have real feelings, you all need to realize that....

I appreciate Chris for the work that he (and Sandra) has done. You guys need to realize that without Chris you probably wouldn't of had the meets you did (given my track record)

just enjoy your car (whatever it is) that's what were here for, and don't downplay someone else's ride because it may be you in the driver's seat someday..... eek
