Car is running good. No problems since the fix. It used to act up when hot outside and during the last week it was fine. So far so good. Warranty runs out in October so I have a feeling it may reappear in November some time

My 98 Sho had a similar hot weather high idle hang . A tsb written to replace the throttle position sensor connector was the cure to that issue. It seems that they may have learned from the past and are appling the same remedy to help you folks.

Hey Rock, check your PM's.. If not.. Is there anyway you could goto the dealership and find out more about this Fix?? A tsb number or what they call it in there system.. Ive talked to a few people and they cannot find anything about this type of fix for contours or cougars.. I need this fix badly!!

Thanks!
