i'm from NJ and frequently drive Route 1+9. Yesterday i broadsided a VW Jetta. i slammed on my brakes when i saw him creep out from behind a 4x4 onto the main hywy. he was trying to make a left. i hit him at rough guess under 10mph. his car doors were distroyed and i expected to see major damage to my front end. After learning no one was hurt, i got out and looked at the front. some of his red paint and a slight wave in my bumper and that's it. i was amazed.

Make sure the internal frame, bumper, and all are OK.

The body on the contour is exceptional. I hit a lady going about 40 and see was going about 20 fading backwards(she lost control and did a 180, head-on collision). Her car was all messed up and probably was totalled. The Contour's bumper is wavy and scuffed, the lights broke, and hood is slightly bent under. Not a lot of damage considering what really took place.
