OK, I'll admit it! I'm plugging the meet shamelessly. All you people on the fence dithering whether or not to go, just GO! Do what it takes, offer to work weekends for the boss, stay late, come in early, beg plead for the vacation time... It is SO worth it.

Distance? Whatever! I'm driving over 900 miles! Contours are great long distance traveling cars. I should know, I've put a ton of miles on mine. Keeping miles off? Then what's the point of having a car? A car (especially the Contour/Mystique) is MADE to be driven.

Let's get everyone down to Dallas for the National Meet, these events are total riots, and I want to meet and see everyone! (Please don't use that as a reason to run screaming wink )

Anyway... link is at the top of the screen... click and go!

C'mon lets get everyone down there!

well I for one am not going. but dont worry it is not because it is to far to drive (only 1303.69 miles) and I dont care about keeping miles off my car (69K on a 2000 SE) and while I would like to go I just cant take the time off right now (just took a week off at the end of june for a week of roller coasters) so I will not be signing up (but next year I will do my best to make it)

We will not be doing another National Meet in Dallas next year. Our idea was to have it in a "central" type place so the people who could not make it to Spring Zing (which is always in Kalamazoo) would have a chance to go to a meet that is closer. Our hope is that another branch will take up the National Meet and do it somewhere else next year. We have had a little interest in Tennessee but nothing is set in stone. So if your branch wants to claim it, then National Meet will be yours next year! It actually is pretty easy to plan and Chris & I would be happy to assist any branch that chooses to do this. Its a great way to "show off" your city. That's what we are doing. We are very proud of Dallas and all it has to offer car enthusiasts.

Remember two more days till registration is over & late registration starts.
