Is anyone familiar with the G-TECH? If so, how accurate is it (HP, 1/4 mile time)?
If it is worth it, I will bring one with me on the 20th.

bring it. i'm curious. i've heard it's good for tracking mods, but not for comparing times between cars.
so test before and after a mod. It will show if there is an improvement or not.

i'll be there, i'm just curious what its like.

I'm also curious to how accurate it is. Someone on SVTPerformance.com was talking about how of it was, but I think it depends on where you place it.

hey guys...thought i would tell you a bit about the gtech to get the most out of it. i have tested my car along with 5 other cars that have been to the track and it is always accurate within 1/10th. first center the gtech directly under the rearview or the curve of the windshield will throw it off. Only gtech by yourself. Put the gtech about 1/2 way down the windshield. only run on a flat road. Zero the gtech out to 0, not 1 or -1, put it on zero. and the most important, DO NOT get wheelspin. Wheelspin will only throw the accelerometer inside the gtech off. Simply feather (slip) the clutch of the start as fast as you can to avoid wheelspin then nail it! your times should be VERY accurate...look at my sig, i have a track and gtech time, the gtech time is my best...i AVERAGE 14.9 on it...have fun and dont get caught!!!
