The Kappa's are suppose to be Infinity's top of the line automotive speakers. Humm...the specs I've read show that the Kappa's have better specs than the Reference series, particularly in the bass. Whatever. I don't get the huge bass like a subwoofer gives, but I like the balanced sound stage of my current system. Us old farts like to keep as much of our hearing as possible. Besides, I got enough REALLY LOUD music back in the sixties and early seventies.
BTW - If you want Infinity Reference, they go pretty cheap on Ebay; about $100 for 6x9.

wes, thanks for all the info. they really did sound good and if i remember you are only running a 200w amp to all those speakers.

How have you been? If you are considering springs, I recommend that you think about shocks also. You should come by the office and drive my car. By the way, I got some new wheels, tires and the SCM rear sway bar. Lets get together for lunch or something.

New job sounds great, more money I hope. Money is a good thing. Lunch anytime. As for the struts, I went the Eibach spring route and found that the car handled better but not great. The rebound was not up to par with the new shorter wheel travel. It doen't bother some SVT drivers but it did me. I am use to a much tighter ride. The whole package can be had for about $1000 installed. You may want to check with Custom Alignment in Mountain View. They have done a ton of work for me over the years and the job was always correct.
