I think I owe some people an apology for not being able to carry through on some things that I committed to here in the NW (ie. the NW Contour Webpage). Sorry if this negatively effected any of you that were involved.

The last couple of months have been rough here. I have been unemployed for the last 2 months and am currently still unemployed. I haven't spent much time on the boards lately due to this. Anyway, I decided to see what was going on over here and find out that the board will be closing. (Well according to another post this may not be true...I guess there have been a lot of contributions to the cause, I should try and get one in myself, I hope this site stays open).

I hope to attend the G2G on the 10th in Everett just to see everyone again and meet some people I previously haven't met before. We'll see if I can scrounge some funds up to make it. wink

Again, sorry if I inconvienced any of you. My current email is:

r.veitenhans@attbi.com

Hope to see you on the 10th

Yeah, I noticed that they raised enough money after I posted laugh .

I'm pretty sure I won't be at the PIR event. Can't really afford it right now. If I am around I'll drop by to say hi. I really want to go racing but the little lady says I shouldn't. What to do, what to do. That is why I'm concidering just going to the G2G instead.

Yes the market does suck, expecially for us Tech types here in Oregon...hmm highest unemployment in the nation frown . It will get better though.

I'm also an unemployed computer guy, right across the river from you! I've been out of work since December however. Been pretty tough making the payments on the SVT but I have managed to keep it. It seems that the jobs just aren't there! Intel just laid off 4000, so I guess we're 4000 times more screwed! Hope to see you on the 10th in Everett, otherwise just bounce me an email...shotwell@pugetsound.net. Maybe we can help each other out on the job thing. Talk to later!

Mike
