Hi, I'm another driver from Vancouver, very interested...and yes, us CDN guys should talk about
a border strategy before we go.

Where and When?

Hey Darren,

If you can provide a home base for us to play with mods, that'd be great.

Know of any good drives in your area?

Come on, guys. Let's hear some ideas.

Kerry

P.S. How many Canucks do we have making the trek down?

Here is a proposal, Meet in Everett Saturday morning at around 10:00.

Grab an early lunch (10:30 or so)

Go on a little drive:
Everett to Darrington via I-5 and SR 530 through Arlington. From Darrington follow the Concrete-Sauk vally road north along the river all the way back to SR-9

or from Darrington follow the Sauk Valley road to Rockport and take SR 20 back to Mt Vernon.

Then Time permitting head back to My place in Lake Stevens or we could go to my place before we go on the little drive and then the Canucks can head home from Mt Vernon.

This is a proposal for any and all to pick at. Let me know so I can prepare. I do have a meeting place in mind around the Everett Mall. More to come when I get some feed back.

I would say the plan sounds good, except I'd allow more time to meet and great, and take pictures before lunch. That way anyone who gets lost (?) or is late can still meet up with us. How far is Lake Stevens from Everett?

Is there a good SVT dealer around there? We could drop in there too.

Kerry

Lk Stevens is NE and accros the valley from Everett.

Is there any preferances as to what and or where we eat lunch. There is the food court and Mr.Billsin the mall and various other fast food joints around the area. Give me some ideas so we can get some of this in stone.

A change to the above. I think it would probably be wise to do the bench racing/mods before we take off on the trail for a little drive.

BTW, How many are going to attend? I have parking for about 10 cars A-B. That and I don't want to piss the neighbors off.

If anyone wants to add anything, feel free, I don't know what you guys like or dislike. We want this to be enjoyable for all.

What???

You mean 'NO' drag racing down your street Darren? smile

I'm game on meeting either Aug 10th or 11th. Don't care what we do, like, I would like to remove the door dings off my car, or something like that.

I suggest that everyone who hasn't should sign up on the NW CEG Yahoo Group List because the forums are probably going to be shut down in the next week or so. Matt's job is ending at the end of this month and his company is in the process of removing his T1 line. You can read about Lance's announcement here .

Anyhow, if everyone joins the yahoo list you can still keep the meet plans coming and everyone will be up to date. If not, it will be hard to coordinate info.

Just a thought.

=) Christy

Hi Christy,

Exactly my thoughts. Great suggestion.

See you all at the Yahoo Groups NW-CEG locale. There are some there that don't come here. So we'll get everybody in the same place.

Kerry
