Well chances are you won't be able to get the ticket dropped. If you were to fight it I'd push the "Rule of the Road". Basically you were keeping pace with the rest of traffic. But that probably won't get you too far.
If this is your first ticket or the first one you've had in a while you may have a couple options. Pleed guilty to the ticket and get the points put on your record and probably pay a minimal fine. I took this option my first ticket. It was reduced from $180 to $50-$60 (basically court fees).
Another option would be to take drivers school (if they offer it...talk to the clerks at the courthouse and they will know). Most systems that offer the school require you to pay the full ticket or more then what you would normally pay if it went on your record. The points don't go on your record and you have to spend a couple hours on a saturday or something at school. You don't have to show up to court if you take this option though.
