Just wondering what you guys think of this car. Its a slushbox but its for my finacee and all she wants is air! LOL! Got love having a 1987 Calais and stepping up to air condition!
What packages were available for the zetec? This car has a spoiler so I'm wondering if they added it or if it was a package deal. Anything I should look out for or not get? Thanks much!

The only problems know with the 2000 models are the dashes. Everything else was pretty much fixed. And at the same time they are the most decontented. It should be a good car. 8000 sounds a little high to me. I'd try toget them down to around 7000.
If I remember correctly all the 2000's where SE models.

2000's: SE, SE Sport, SVT
Dealers sold SE Sports, SVT's from SVT dealers.
SE's were fleet only, ATX only, no Sport package, but had V6 optional. Decontented the express down and variable intermittant wipers. Someone must have added the spoiler aftermarket.
Getting a Y2K SE with Zetec/ATX for $8000 is good, but with less then 25K miles is even better deal.
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

Zetecs rule!  Pick it up I paid $13,000 for my 2000 w/24K miles. Then again it was in 2000 when I bought my car.

Picked up my Zetec with 13K on it for just under 9k, but after interest it will be 14k. Worth Every g-damn penny.
2000 Contour Se Zetec 2.0L No go mods yet, but a couple of show mods -Pilot HyperWhite Fog lights -Blue courtesy/dome lights -Reverse Indiglo Gagues from www.procarparts.com -Headlight/Climate control knobs, vents, glove box handle, and "Contour" dash badge painted in Silver Frost to match exterior -Ventguards -20% tints -Aiwa CDC-X317 CD player 45 watt per channel piping through stock (ick) speakers -Knauberized. -coming soon: Amplifier/bazooka bass tube (too lazy to put them in), Arctic blue headlights.

'98.5 Zetec in late '99 with 28K for $10K good?
On another note, someone putting 28K miles on it in that amount of time is pretty impressive.
