Does anyone know if it's possible to take out the orange colored insert on the parking lights on a pre 98 contour? If so, how is it done? I would like to have clear ones.
95 Contour GL Zetec

It seems that the orange piece is really in there in pre98s. Can't really get it out except by grinding, and that doesn't do wonders for the looks. The Mondeo overseas has them to buy, but they do not fit the Contour without modification.

Well that sucks. I really wanna take that piece out! Oh well, I guess I can live with them.

I hope hightower makes a corner light when he releases the dual headlights. The duals need clear and better looking corners to look really good.

There's an article in the How-to section on how to remove the reflectors. I took mine out in less than 45 mins and put in blue bulbs. It looks really cool and is definetly worth the time and effort.  Hurry and get the article b4 the site sguts down!!!

Which is what he (and me) has.
