If I was putting LED's on the front of my mystique, and I was getting power from the battery, what rating of fuse would I use? After all, LED's only draw about .02 amps, but at the same time, if there was a short, i wouldn't want a fire or other problem. Should I just stick a 5amp fuse in the line just in case?
Any Ideas?
Thanks.

What kind of leds are you using? Most of the time you will need to solder in resistor(s) to make sure that your leds get the proper power. None of my leds have an inline fuse. confused

I'm using two regular radio shack blue LED's, and I do have a resistor soldered in, it is rated at 330 ohms. The reason I was thinking about using a fuse was because I would have a live 12v wire going from the battery to my switch, and then going to the LED's, that leaves a lot of places for potential problems.

Ah good point. I was thinking about adding an inline fuse. Would you be having these leds on all the time or what?

You could tie into one the wire that gives power to the park lights. That line is already fused and then the leds would come on with your headlights.
