while i was at work some ******* apparently hit my car!!! don't know who it was, all i know is he had a blue car cuz there was some blue paint on my car. well anyways, to my question. the damage is to my left front bumper, there are deep gouges(sp?) to the bumper and scrapes. What could i use to fill in the deep scratches? Bondo maybe? and where can i find paint to match mine, other than ford, the color is willow green. paint code being SH. At work (discount/advance auto parts) we have the touch up paint but not the damn spray kind (dont want to sit there for an hour using touch up). and just in case some of you are wondering...no, i did not report this to my insurance. why? i don't know but i'm kicking myself for it and now it's been 3 days. don't know if they would do anything for me now. anyways, any advice would be appreciated very much.

Go to the police station, file a hit-and-run, get a copy of the police report, and go to your insurance. Get estimates, and either fix the car, or take the claim money and mod... Only drawback is that it's a claim on your insurance...You need to weigh weather or not you'd rather keep that record clean or not.

This is why you pay ridiculous amounts of car insurance.
In the meantime I'd track the ****er down...look at the level the car hit you, the shade of the blue, any regular employees there, people parking away from you, blah blah blah blah...
He/she is not going to fix their car with insurance money, so check that out...if their paint ain't perfect and their car is blue...keep tabs...they'll never park next to you again.

Paintscratch can match your paint if you want to fix it yourself.

If you do claim it to insurance then you probably want to fix. If you don't and don't have a receipt of fixing it, then if you have an accident, the insurance will take that amount out from your next accident(hopefully it wont happen).

i know how ya feel- someone backed into my car last week while i was at work- damaged the bumber- you can still claim it on your insurance- just have to weigh the amount of damage to your deductable. I have a $500 deduct- $600 worth in damage- I am taking the opportunity to get svt bumbers for my se on my own.....when i have money lol
