Many dealerships use an engine degreaser and then wipe them down and shine them. At the dealership I work at, we use a engine degreaser from Car-Pro that works pretty good.
You can you any engine degreaser, but for best results wipe down the plastics and hoses, etc., then use some sort of shiner.
As for tint, I was quoted $225-250 last year.

about clening the engine you can go to ur local autoparts store and buy a can of engine degreaser for like 5$ or less and spray it on and wash it off witha hose just make sure you cover the distrubruter cap witha plastic bag or something. No water can get on it or ur screwed!! The local car washand probaly do it too not sure of the price. Now for the tints i'm fron ny and they charge like 130 or so for tints up here but u can porbaly get them for 100 down where ur from

I have a sister in Florida that got 5 Taurus windows tinted for about $130. Here in Michigan, good shops run $175-$225 for sedans. If you are lazy, pick up this engine cleaning kit:

1000% agree with the CD2 recomendation for engine (complete underhood actually) cleaning/detailing. I use it and it is truly awesome. I get the "whoa... " everytime I pop the hood for someone!

Don't put 5% on your front windows, you'll have to roll the down when you drive at night just so you can see. And if you ever get pulled over with 5%, prepare to be yelled at. Cops don't like approaching cars that they can't see into. As for tint pricing, plan on $180-280, depending on brand and type of tint.
