I just got my tint done yesterday and I'm going back tonight for other stuff. My question is there are a few tiny bubbles here and there, and there is a dog hair partially under the tint in the back. Someone told me for the tiny bubbles I just need to pop them with a razor (carefully) and as they are so small it won't matter. For the dog hair what should I do? Tell my installer to fix it?
He's doing me a favor on an audiobahn amp that I need to get replace under warranty, but at the same time he guarantees his work...

Well 1st thing 1st, Your not suppose to open your windows for like 2-3days, This is so they dry right. Also dont worry about the Bubbles yet wait out the 2-3day wait period. As for the Hair i dont see any way of getting it out without redoing the whole window. HTH

Yea, I know about not opening my windows and not using ammonia window cleaner. Are you saying the bubbles may go away?

from the tint that i have done the bubles dont go away but you can pop them with the razor, with extreme care...about the hair the only way is to redo the whole window...a partner of mines the way he seals the little holes is with a very small drop of clear nail polish, depending where the bubble was. Good luck

I would try to see what the installer did, since he did do the work.

normaly bubbles will go away within a week. Don't fret till after then. Your stuck with the hair. Pull what you can and leave the rest be. If it's in the back odds are you'll only notice. If you can't deal with it get the window re done.

The only bubbles that go away after a couple days are the little ones that may have a little water in them that have not yet dried...If there isn't water in them, you can push them down but you will still see an outline of where they were..
