Does anyone know where I can find some sort of metal removable attachment that I can adapt to work on the Mirko splitter. I am talking about something similar to what's used on the 00 Cobra R front splitter. There are somewhere between 6 and 8 of them on that car, and if done correctly, can be adapted to fit on the Mirko splitter so I can take it on and off as desired. Any ideas???

I think you're talking about Dzus fasteners. You can get them at most race shops. Try Summit Racing or JEGS.

Do you think that they will work? I am at work and am on dialup. Don't have time to go and research the product until tonight. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Yes they do work. Gr8ride has them on his splitter, andI will use them on mine too. This will alow me to remove the splitter when negotiating my "Mt Everest" profiled driveway.

Stazi,
Do you think you can do a how to on that? I'm interested in getting a splitter and with the ride height on the car now, I'd lose it pulling in to most driveways!
Also, Racer Parts Wholesale has them for under $20 for 10.

Yeah, thats all I do, just 3 screws on the bottom, and two on the sides and its off. 10min job tops. why make it more difficult?

Having the quarter turn fastener on my splitter has defently saved it acouple of times for me. It is defently worth it. I can offer some advice though and only add 4 fasteners insted of the 6 I have. It jsut makes life easier. I dont think there is any pics on the net yet but if someone wants to post them I can email them to you or pm for them derectly to you.
