the door has been repainted so now i have this small lip of clear coat (maybe paint also). has anyone ever experienced this? can i just sand the lip down with some 1500 grit or something?

hey jim,

My buddy with the cougar had the same problem and when he got his z3 fenders installed from the bodyshop they told us he needed to repaint it...he also told us to try to rub it out and it didnt work....I would try to do the easy stuff and cheap stuff first...if not...I dont know expect for getting it repainted....
