any solid way to do it? is it as simple as plain old 2 sided tape cut to fit, and stick it on? if so, what kind of tape or substance should i use to attach it

i think he shaved his emblems and wants to put them back on, not stock emblems

regular old factory emblems, got shaved, want to know if they can be easily reattached.

the ford one on the back i presume? since the rest are all stick-on.. I'd suggest getting a pre-98 trunk emblem (they're stick-on (mine was anyhow)) and just sticking it where the origional was

Yes, 2-sided tape. Buy 3m and replace the old tape and trim to fit. It works fine .

I used 3M Exterior Mounting Tape -- "Super Strong" that I bought at my local KMart.

It says it is weather resistant and can hold up to 5 lbs.
