Ok here is my question. I want to do the job right the first time and dont have much painting knowledge. I want to paint the mesh on my SVT. In order to get a strong finish that is less prone to chips what steps should I take? Do I need to sand and primer and then put the color I want? Should I use a clear coat to finish it off?
Is there any type of paint (such as model paint) I should use since it's plastic?

hey, basically all you really have to do is add flex additive to the paint and also the clearcoat. this will help prevent the paint from cracking when used on a soft material like the svt mesh grill. im not saying it'll be crack-proof, but it'll make the paint more durable on it.
